Jane Hodgson

Jane is a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, specialising in the treatment of complex musculoskeletal injuries requiring a more thorough assessment and management. Combining up-to-date exercise rehabilitation and manual therapy treatment techniques, Jane achieves outstanding results. With over 19 years experience and working closely with Medical Specialists, GPs, Allied Health Practitioners and Therapists, Jane strives for faster, more effective rehabilitation.

Jane has a background in rehabilitation, as well as vast experience in “on field” sports injury management over a variety of sports. Jane maintains an interest in soccer, swimming and running. Joining Therapy Max in 2002, Jane now leads The Therapy Max Team.

Emily began her career after training in the UK, working with sports teams, providing injury prevention and treatment. She then headed back to Ireland, to undertake extensive Pilates training. After moving to Australia in 2009, she has broadened her expertise in injury rehabilitation through sports coverage, gym based physiotherapy and clinical pilates. Emily’s key interests are in core stability re-training, postural correction, injury prevention, neck and back pain, lower limb injuries and pre/post natal problems.

Emily is a qualified Pilates Instructor, who can undertake both studio rehabilitation as well as mat classes. She is a very popular instructor in our Fit Backs Pilates classes. Emily remains very athletic herself with interests in running swimming and pilates.

Erin combines her knowledge and experience in pilates with her knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics & injury management to achieve outstanding results for her clients.  She is qualified in Physiotherapy and has a background of contemporary dance and classical ballet (incorporating performance, choreography, teaching & pre-point assessment).

Erin is dedicated to achieving clients’ goals through addressing symptoms and the underlying causes to injury; including posture awareness, flexibility, core control and overall strength and stability. Her strong hands have ensured that she is highly sought after for manual therapy treatments of sports injuries in particular.  Erin remains very athletic herself with interests in netball, touch rugby, gym based exercise and dance. Erin is an instructor in our Fit Backs Classes.

Sally Harrison

Through her professional dance, Sally developed a passion for exercise rehabilitation and an interest in clinical pilates.  Seeing a need for more intense core re-training for her clients, Sally established our Fit Backs Clinical Pilates classes in 2006.  

Whilst now only instructing in our classes, Sally remains a very popular instructor with her fun and effective format. Many of our amazing success stories can be attributed to Sally’s foresight and her dedication to facilitate full rehabilitation of some very complex injuries of our clients.

Combining magic hands and great communication skills enables Sylvia to get to the bottom of those niggling muscle troubles. Skilled in remedial, deep tissue release as well as pregnancy massage, she is genuinely interested in attaining the best outcome with each massage.

Sylvia is becoming highly sought after by competitive athletes needing sports massage to improve flexibility & recovery and by weekend warriors needing remedial treatment.  Sylvia will also works closely with our physios to achieve excellent results in more complex injuries when required. Whilst Sylvia’s current exercise focus is in the gym, other exercise pursuits include running, & cycling.
